For crop protection suppliers, that means giving farmers the product knowledge they need, when they need it.

Project Goals / Challenges:

Corteva Agriscience has a large and expanding portfolio of crop protection products to support growers to increase their yields, productivity and profit, and care for their land.

Product information has traditionally been provided to growers and agronomists through manuals and guides. While essential and valuable customer resources, product guides and manuals can be heavy reading, and finding the precise information required can be tricky.  

Within Corteva’s horticulture division, as part of the ‘Grower’s Alliance with Science’ campaign, a need was recognised for a different way for customers to search and find horticulture product specific information.

Freckle was engaged to develop the new product tool. The aim was to create a helpful means for farmers to search for and find information when they need it, no matter where they are – on a tractor, in the paddock, in the farm office, or at the local agriculture supply store.

Our Approach / Solution

Our solution was to design and develop the Corteva Product Finder. Built with the users firmly in mind, the online tool gives growers and agronomists the ability to search Corteva’s large portfolio of horticulture products with ease.

We created different sorting options, based on crop, product type and problem, so consumers could access materials from different entry points to easily find the correct information they need. Once users find the desired product information, the tool also connects them to the correlating, more detailed, technical manuals and guides. Many of the manuals and guides are also developed by the Freckle team.

With the Corteva Product Finder, Aussie growers can now find the right crop protection product information they need when they need it. And Corteva Agriscience has continued to deliver to their core belief that when farmers win, everyone wins.
