Welcome to 2011
Welcome to the first DesignBUILD Blueprint for 2011, where there is plenty of good news to report.
Whilst government stimulus packages are now petering out and interest rates remain a concern, the signals point towards a much better year for the Building and Construction industry. Some states and sectors are now posting solid growth figures, and with the rebuilding of disaster affected areas in Queensland and Victoria, it is sure to be a busy time for building professionals and their suppliers.
This confidence has flowed through to DesignBUILD where the show is now 70% booked, three months out from the exhibition. Many organisations absent from the show for many years are returning and waiting lists exist for international pavilions, with overseas companies desperate to capitalise on the strong Australian economy.
The show has also undergone a revision, with new feature areas and programs implemented for 2011, providing even more reason for industry professionals to take time out to see the latest products and technologies on display.
We look forward to seeing you at the expo this year, and encourage any businesses with NEW, INNOVATIVE or GREEN products to consider being involved as an exhibitor and capitalising on all the benefits DesignBUILD can offer. |
